leaving phone plugged in 24/7

Hi, I plan on using my old phone (Samsung galaxy y) as a surveillance camera while I'm on holiday for 3 weeks. The phone will be always plugged in to the wall. I'm wondering if there are any safety concerns regarding this. I have already left it in for the night with no problems. And neither the phone nor case are hot.

Won't really do anything other than lower the capacity on your battery. Unless you plan on using again in the future it should be fine
