I cannot log into Google Play Services

Tmobile Galaxy Note 5. I just changed my google password thinking that was a smart thing to do. Now I can't log in to Google Play Services. I can't use Google Music, I can't get into the play store. When I press the "Account Action Required" notification it brings me to the log in screen. I type in my password and it goes through and goes to 2 step verification. I get the text for 2 step and then everything drops, not a crash, but the app sign in page minimizes and I'm left looking at my homescreen. If I hit the multi-tasking button and pull up the sign in page, it just starts allover. I thought maybe it was a problem with 2 step verification so I shut that off but the same thing happens, just without going to the 2 step screen. I searched around on the internet and someone said to uninstall the google play services updates. That was a dumb thing to do because now even LESS things work. Please help. I'm annoyed.
