I want to move a few big apps to my SD card to save space on my phone, so I go to my settings menu, find the app and select "move to sd card" and the button then changes to "move to phone". For example, The Room 3 reports that 500mb of data is on the sd card. However, when I use disk management apps and the actual usage tab in the settings menu, both report that the data from the app is still on the internal storage and nothing has been moved. I'm running Kitkat 4.4.4 on a Sony Xperia E4G. Thanks!

Some parts of the app code have been moved to the SD card, but the data stays in internal storage. That's how it works. (Moving the few apps that will run properly from the SD card to the card doesn't save much space on the phone.)
