After latest update HTC one M8 wont allow me to use a custom message alert tone???

Have done the latest update to Marshmallow and since then my text alert sound has reverted back to just the standard list only. I have used Zedge before this update and it worked fine... The downloaded sounds from Zedge are still in the list and I can select them but once I hit apply and go back to the menu nothing has changed???

You might need to boot in to recovery and wipe your cache partition. That might fix the issue.
