I don't know that there is a 'should' about it. I would charge to 100% and give it an extra fifteen minutes.

And do that 3 times. Fully charge (which means 15-30 minutes after it first says 100% - it's not critical), use it normally until it shuts off because of low battery, then fully charge it.

After that, try to never let it get below 40% (lithium batteries aren't designed to be deeply discharged regularly).
