'Not available in your country'

[AC Question]

I live in Jersey, Channel Islands (which conuts as being British), and my Samsung galaxy s4 will not let me down load some very popular apps because they are 'unavailable in your country'. If I try and search up a certain app in the play store it will not show and i have to Google it to find the app on there, only for it to say that it's unavailable. Can anyone tell me what I can do?

Welcome to Android Central! Can you confirm that the apps you're interested in are in fact available in the UK? See if your friends can install the apps on their phones.

Did you get your S4 directly from your carrier, or did you get it unlocked on your own? If so, do you know if the phone was intended for the UK market, or perhaps some other country?
