some apps started misbehaving while i was texting my boyfriend. i did a factory data reset hpoing to sort the issue. To my surprise, after the reset my gmail ID popped up even with with the password saved. all pics and videos were gone but the gmail ID was still there. The problem hasn't corrected itself and my apps are still haywire. please help !

    Welcome.

Can you tell us more about how the apps were misbehaving, and which ones?

    hello !
the clock and weather app started on their own. then i restarted the phone but the situation did not correct itself. so i did the factory reset. after that i realised the phone retained my email id and password and the app issue persisted. please help me

Was this after you signed into your Google account via setup that your Gmail info was showed?

That information is tied to your Google account and not your device.

I did not sign in, After the factory reset was complete, the phone restarted and surprisingly remembered my gmail ID and password and simply asked me to log in, An yes, after I selected factory data reset, it didn't ask me my PIN. it simply started the process of reset.
