Hi... My phone has been stolen.. So I called my service provider to block my phone imei code... But what I want to know is, is it possible the phone to be block if its off?? And like what my service provider assist said, the imei code is already blocked and the phone can't be use already.. But the phone is off.. So if the third party on the phone, will the phone automatically be blocked??

It should be blocked even if it's off. It should be blocked as soon as someone tries to activate your imei

The block is on the towers. If that phone is used, it won't get service on any US carrier, except for 911 calls (it's illegal to block any phone from making a 911 call - for obvious reasons - and I'm sure you don't want the thief to pay for your phone with his life).
