I would like to send texts from my Samsung Grand Prime phone to someone's email account in Hotmail (they don't have a cell phone). I don't use data on my phone so I don't want to send the message as an email. When I try to send a text to their email, I can't get it to work because my phone just tells me I'm not connected to the internet and won't send the message. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

There's only one way to send something to a person's email... and that is to email it, which requires a connection to the internet.

OK, is that just the case for smartphones then? I used to have a Samsung Link which was never connected to the internet, but I could text to someone's email, no problem.
