I am doing an agriscience project for my local FFA chapter, and I am going to try charging a samsung galaxy s3 with either a watermelon, carrot, or a lemon. I need to know how many volts I need to generate.
If you own an S3 and it came with a charger, then the charger will have a label on it. Read the label. Typically it's 5v with a stated charging current.
Even if you're able to generate the 5 volts, it'll be the current capability that determines how long it'll actually take to charge the phone.
