Galaxy Mega 2 touch screen is not responding

I have a galaxy mega2 the touch is not responding the screen is not even broken the volume and power button do work I did the hard reset and didn't do anything its stuck on the startup page I can't do anything what could be the problem?

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean that it's stuck on the startup page? The homescreen, the lockscreen, or the bootscreen (with the Samsung logo)?

It sounds like the touchscreen digitizer has failed (which can happen in the absence of any obvious damage to the glass). The screen will have to be replaced. If the phone is stuck on the bootscreen, there might be more serious problems with the motherboard as well.
