I would get a pop up on my phone almost everyday saying I had a virus and my battery is a certain percent damaged I thought it was just a pop up and always closed the page. After a several months my phone just turned off by itself and wouldn't turn back on, so I put it on the charger and the battery picture would come on for a few seconds(like it was going to charge) then would turn off, over and over and over.
Finally I tried a different battery and it worked fine. I haven't had my phone and used long enough to ruin the battery...so did a virus kill my battery?? Is that even possible??

Nope its not a virus. Just a common battery failure. If the pop up only comes out when you are browsing the internet, you are fine. But if it come up anywhere on your phone, you might have an adware or a real virus. But a virus cant damage the battery.
