Why does Google location history show no movement starting Feb 13th, and started again Feb 24th. Is there any way I can retrieve the missing data?

On my Samsung phone, the Google location history stopped tracking on Feb 13th and started again on Feb 24th.

Does anyone know of a way to retrieve the data or why it stopped working?

Location History was never turned off. In addition, there are a few days sporadically that have no data but nothing like the big chunk of time that happened recently.

Ok, just want to be clear--we're talking about going to Settings>Location>Google Location History​, and making sure the switch next to the device is turned on, right?
