My Galaxy S6 Edge + has stopped allowing Bluetooth to turn on. Nothing new was added and every time I attempt to turn Bluetooth on, I get the "Unfortunately, Bluetooth has stopped" message.

I have started in Safe Mode, wiped the cache partition, rebooted, all without success in restoring Bluetooth function. Short of a factory reset, is there anything else to try? Has anybody else experienced this?

If a factory reset doesn't work, I guess the phone will have to be replaced.

    Irritating.

Well, it looks like you tried everything I would have tried. Be sure to back up your data before the factory reset.

    Yes, irritating!
