why do I get a text sound on my galaxy s4 when it is connected by bluetooth to my qashqai car?

I think that I am getting text messages but I'm not. the only time I have bluetooth on is when I am in my car. Can I stop my phone making this noise when I am in the car?

Could it be another notification? I'd suggest turning off notifications when you are connected to the car via Bluetooth. If you can pinpoint the exact cause then disable that feature only.
