why doesnt software update work on my s6 edge?

my Samsung s6 edge is a European unlocked phone .when I try to run software update it refuses to update saying it has been modified in an unauthorised manner..pls help

I suspect that your only option here would be to use whatever Samsung tools are available to reload the fresh factory image for your phone. Whatever is going on with that phone, the scripts that check for modifications are failing... even a factory reset will most likely not clear it (though it is worth a shot).
