Battety virus

I have an s3 mini over 2 years now , tonight my mom clicked on a link from Facebook and it showed up an alert from Google that I had 4 battery virus's and I had 5 mins before my phone would shut down permamtaly , it showed a site I had to download to get rid of it but the problem is I have 2 thousand photos on my phone and it has no memory in it at all so I can't download anything,, I took out my battery straight away , what do I do

It's a phony alert. There is no virus that can infect a battery. The "real" virus is the one the alert was hoping you'd download and install. If you didn't download and install anything, you're safe. If you ever see that alert again, go to Application settings and force stop whatever app you see it in. This BS alert is becoming all too common.
