Is application like blue filter and eyes protetor bad on my device

I just installed blue filter app and i noticed heat in specific part on my screen and didnt know why so i uninstalled it and the heat is gone..i read comments on the app nobody said that..any idea i maybe be wrong ?

I use f.lux on my computer, but nothing on my phone or tablet... I don't look at them long enough everyday. If the app is causing problems for your phone, don't use it or try another app. I certainly wouldn't use something that heats up the screen.
