Before upgrading to 6.0 on my HTC M8 I was able to select App Manager and scroll right to see Running Apps. Now there is no way to Stop or Disable an app that is currently running. I selected Memory from the menu and then Memory Used by Apps, selected Force Stop but it didn't change anything.

Hi, welcome to the forums! Not sure if I completely understand what you mean. When you tap "force stop" it works as before, the only difference is that the app will stay on that list for a while since it's showing apps using the memory for the last three hours or more.

    Just remembered now

The running services option now is included in the developer options. If you haven't enabled them yet go to settings - about phone and tap 7 times on the build number.
