S5 Galaxy screen goes black but when sliding sd card in and out that temporary fixes problem

OK I just picked up a used galaxy s5 and randomly when the screen times out or is manually turned off the screen goes black. Sound and touch still work. There's a tiny flash of the screen when trying to restart but solid black. But if I take the sd card and slide it out then in quickly 1 outta 3 times I will fix the problem. Fixing the black screen can be done when phone is off or fully up and running by sliding it in and out, Tried resetting factory reset but I'm guessing a physical hardware problem. Any suggestions
