I have an Alcatel phone running kitkat & when using dhcp it will connect to my wifi home system, however if I change the settings to static it no longer functions.
If I analyse the settings by using a Network Info II app it informs me that the address is 0.0.0.0 not the value that I set i.e. not 192.168.1 254.
Any ideas ?
