    this was a good feature for stopping apps that you didn't need running and hogging resources. Can't find similar feature in 6.0. I'm on a Moto G (2nd. gen)

    Welcome to the forums!

    Open system settings - applications. Find the app you want to stop and open the setting. You can stop it there.

    Thanks. But my point is how do I know what's running overall not guessing app by app , which takes a lot of time. As well with 6.0 they list a myriad of built-in Android apps which I haven't got a clue, whereas 5.0 didn't. (hope you can visualize my point)
