my etisalat SIM card isn't working

I got a Samsung Galaxy s3 and I put my etisalat sim in it but I can't make calls or load credit or anything.it keeps saying "not registered on network" anytime I try to make a call. I've gone to the settings to choose etisalat as the network operator but it isn't connecting

Perhaps the phone is locked to another network? Or does not support the correct radio bands for your preferred network?
Speak to your carrier about it....they will be able to advise.
