Is there a simple and easy way to transfer all my files from my old sd card to a new one?
Basically, I purchased a 16gb sd card for my LG G Stylo since the one I have is too small for me now, 4gb. My device isn't rooted. It's on MetroPCS network, if that even matters.
Also, does the new sd card need to be formatted for my device and if so, how would I go about doing so? I didn't see an option in my settings for formatting an sd card.
    Any help is much appreciated!!

Hi. You would have to transfer back any app portions on the card back to the device. Any apps moved to the card would have created links for that card so copying the complete card say to a pc and to the new card wouldn't work. If you have games or large apps on there you may need to temporarily uninstall less used apps to make space.
Android Marshmallow has sd card formatting buried in the overflow menu, but if it doesn't ask if you want to format it, it's probably fine.
