i have had my phone less then six months and now I am having a hard time getting it to charge

I have visited every store in Jonesboro Ar and no one has the parts or can fix it. My daughter models so I am missing out on e-mails and job offers

Is it the USB port connector that's damaged? If so, send it off for repair, and in the meantime use the SIM in a cheap phone.
