Marshmallow Update Bricked My One M8

[AC Question]

My Verizon-based HTC One M8 tried upgrading to Marshmallow at the beginning of the week and it bricked my phone. There isn't a single help article online that has been able to help. I cannot get past the Verizon booting screen, even after attempting to run in fastboot and recovery mode. Help/explanation please?

I also tried using the Marshmallow RUU and it could not detect my phone.
