I can't change my fingerprint and i forgot my backup password s6 edge plus

I can unlock my phone but i cant just change backup password and fingerprints aint working.Writing on s6 edge plus

I got advice from the chat folks, go to settings, lock screen, fingerprints, go to the more button on top right, choose edit, select the fingerprint, and delete it. add a new fingerprint and a new password to go with it
