Why is my Auto Rotate not working on my HTC One M9?

Since the last major update to my HTC One M9, i cannot turn my phone sideways to watch videos or see pictures full screen. It also affects the way i take pics, I'm not able to take pictures upright with the camera. I've switched the Auto-Rotate feature on and off and back on over and over again. Please help somebody!!!! Not to mention other little issues i've had since this update.....

Try Safe Mode, to test whether a third-party app is causing trouble.

If not, try a Cache Partition wipe.

Otherwise, consider a Backup & Reset. Let us know if you need advice about that, especially the backing up first.
