    Hi,

I just own Note 5 for 2 weeks,i wondering why Note5 background apps use alot of RAM?System & Apps already used 2.4GB plus 432MB reserved.
Can anyone explain to me why and how to solve it?

    Thanks

Hello. That's normal and healthy on Android. It keeps a lot in ram and removes lesser used apps when needed. Different system to Windows.

It's normal. Android is a lot more efficient in managing RAM than Windows

Android can't be compared to a Windows desktop. Android likes to have RAM full so that it takes less effort to pull an app back into the foreground.

    You're welcome.

    What Pugs and Golf said.

There have been many debates here about ram in the past and it's a question most of us have asked.

2 hours on standby doesn't mean it's going to clear ram or not do stuff in the background, and I would not worry about ram and cpu v battery usage (much).

I think now Samsung and maybe Marshmallow ? give too much breakdown on everything, so it causes people to worry about the information.

    Enjoy the forums.
