My child got on porn on their kindle fire, my wife and I want to block their tablet so that my child will not be able to get on. Is there a way to do this?

Check your router for features to do that. Some have parental controls that can be enabled, some might even be able to block based on the device.

The industry still hasn't been able to figure that one out. Why? Because you can't define "porn" in a way acceptable to everyone. Is a reference to "breast" a porn site? Or a reference to a medical site? Or a reference to William Congreve? You can block addresses. You can block anything on a list of suspected porn addresses. You can't block "porn", since you can't define it.
