For some reason my phone keeps staying hot so I was searching for an answer on chrome, laid it down for about 30 minutes, when I picked it up it was running like 45 updates and everything had changed and was running Touchwiz and keeps running like 45 undates and the time

When you originally set up your phone did you choose to sync all the stuff you wanted with your gmail account?
You should check that and see if everything you want is synced. Then you can do a factory reset and once you put in your gmail everything that was synced should come back

Yes!!! back up everything to your gmail!! Then factory reset.
