My Phone is HTC Desire 620G. On the default lock screen, whether using pattern or pin, there is a button at the bottom which says "Emergency Call". But if I try to call my home number or anything it tells me "Call not sent. .......88 is not an emergency number." How to i set the emergency number of my Home, frds, etc..??? Please help me..

The Emergency Call facility is for general emergency calls, not personal numbers. Try Settings, Security, Lock Screen Message, for the option to add a telephone number or other message to your lock screen.
