Change Nexus 6P resolution?

A

AC Question

So I bought this phone a couple months ago without a warranty, and broke it. I had the screen replaced at a random repair shop, and while the phone came back fine, the resolution is now 412x732 rather than 1440x2560 like it's supposed to be. Is the replacement screen just of lower quality? Or could I change the resolution back to normal with root commands in the terminal? Or are there just any options at all?

Thank you so much!!

I think you should take it back to the place where it was repaired and have them fix it. I honestly don't have the slightest idea how to do that on a cell phone and am not sure that option exists. Good luck!

Definitely take it back and see what they did.

I haven't really seen talk of changing the resolution. What app/function are you using to measure it?

Usually you just change the DPI.
