How can I transfer pictures off my S6 after my screen went out?

Recently my s6 screen malfunctioned and the screen went completely black. Iv already processed a replacement through samsung but I want to get my pictures off the phone. When I connect the phone and try to look into the S6 folder it says nothing is there. Assuming its because I cant actually unlock my phone right now? Is there a backdoor way to get into my phone and pull my pictures off while not being able to do anything on the phone directly? i have pictures of my daughter on there and it would be tragic if i lost them. Thank!
