Lock screen lights up when fully charged

[AC Question]

Charging at night with "Active Screen" on. When fully charged the lock screen lights up. My wife has same phone and does not light up. I cannot find a setting to change. The Verizon store could not determine the cause.

First of all sorry for not saying Samsung s7. I have gone to the article mentioned and made the adjustment recommended in the site. My thanks for your suggestion. Will try it tonight. Not sure why Verizon had no clue.

Worked. Just charged my S7 and the lock screen did not come on when fully charged. I am new to this "Forum" concept. I realize that I made a rookie mistake in posting without sufficient information. Would think that this answer should somehow be moved to the S7 Forum.
