I have a Sony Xperia Z2 running Android 5.1.1 When looking at my apps, I see that all Google-related apps (Gmail, GDrive,...) have 1-1-1970 listed as their install date, some other apps have a 1971 date (Office Suite, Kobo Books,...), and some non-system apps (Micrsoft Word) have 2016 dates. Is this a sign of the famous bug that Apple had to solve on their IPhones, or is it sth I should not be worried about? All apps do function atm...

thx Belodion, I know it is, but i am just wondering if I should do anything about the situation - maybe these apps are deliberatley set to Unix start date for some reason - if however it is a cause for concern, I may have to use the warranty on my Phone and have it formatted...

    Welcome as a new member.

I'm not aware of it causing problems on Android, but I'll pass this on to wiser persons than I.
