My antivirus says my phone is rooted when i actually never did

Every time I connect to internet my phone starts popping ads very now and then and it downloads random apps automatically. Plus the screen gets suspended by alarm controller which is actually like a screen shot of the app I am using at that moment. And I sometimes I don't even get to attend calls. The phone just rings but doesn't gimme option to attend or reject the call and if I try to unlock the screen it restarts. I am using Huawei Ascend P7 . I have installed avg antivirus which has detected 9 apps with malware but cannot uninstall it because they are system apps. This is freaking frustrating! Antivirus says its because I rooted the phone but I never did. My phone is my precious! Please help me?

If no go, it may be necessary to reflash the stock ROM.
