SD Card won't read

My SD card won't read on my phone and on any computer. It's worked fine until my phone went dead flat, after I charged it the phone won't read the SD card. I tried wiping the card with plain cotton and blowing the card slot but still nothing. It did read once on my laptop but then the format message came up.

It's possible the SD is corrupted, or got killed when you lost power on your phone. It can happen to usb flash drives also if they get yanked from a computer enough times. Very finicky sometimes, these things. The only thing you can do is repeatedly try to connect/disconnect the SD from a computer to see if it sees it. If you're lucky, it'll be recognized long enough for you to pull the data off the card.

If you read the forums enough you'll find out that Android doesn't like it when the battery power is too low on the phone. All kinds of things can happen if the phone suddenly dies. You should try your best to avoid that in the future.
