When you take off the back cover, there are 4 copper pins that can be pushed in (spring loaded). What are those pins used for? Can you point me do a forum discussion about them? Thanks.

Something to do with wireless charging perhaps.
I recommend registering as a member so that you can post in the Motorola Android Phones/Motorola Droid 4 forum. You'll be welcome.

    Welcome to Android Central!

They probably have to do with QI Wireless charging. You can buy an adapter to put there and then purchase a Qi charging pad.
