I have a brand new 32 gb micro sd card and have only downloaded a couple apps. It keeps saying the sd card is damaged so I put it in my computer and format it. Then, I try to download another app (I've tried several different ones) and it's saying there's not enough storage available. When I check my storage, it says there's 28.95 gb available.

    Please help!

Best to format it on the device, which will wipe it again.
    If it's saying it's faulty, there's a problem.
Could it be one of millions of fakes.
    SD Insight app helps.
Apps download to the device first of course, so if you move some across in Applications Manager only a part of the app space is freed. Your device's allocation of app storage may be near the limit, but try to get a working sd card (SanDisk or Samsung) so you can free a little space.

BTW if you have a Marshmallow OS device which can use the card as internal storage, the sd card spec may not be suitable, afaik.
