Automatic Update clarification

I am getting a message to "Install system update New version: 23.21.56.en.US" on my Moto E Android cell phone. This update has been there for the past week or so and does not give option to decline. Is this a valid android update?

Welcome to the forums! There's an easy way to know for sure. Go to settings - about phone - system updates and see if there's a new version waiting to be downloaded. Tell us how it goes.
