I have Android 4.1 and in trying to update the tablet's system, I ran a program that examined my hardware and told me which updates I could use. I wanted to use 4.6 marshmallow but the scan would only allow me to update to KitKat 4.4 I believe. when I went to the system settings and tried to update the system it says that the system is up to date at 4.1.1 I contacted Google, they sent me to Asus, Asus told me there was no update available the tablet. So here I am..... do I just continue to use my very slow tablet using jellybean or is there any solution to this problem?

    Hi and Welcome to AC!

Which model Asus tablet do you have? It's very possible that Asus decided not to continue to provide updates past the current version that you have.

Looks like asus wont be updating your tablet anymore. But you can always flash a custom ROM for your device. Feel free to ask if you want to flash a custom ROM for your device.
