Huawei Honor 6 not charging

Hi all,

Recently my phone stopped charging. I plug the USB cable and nothing happens.
I tried different cables and sources but the problem persisted.
I discovered that restarting the phone first fixed the issue, then it stopped working as well.
Then I did the factory reset (holding power button and lower volume button). It worked once but did not since then.

I am running out of options.
From what I see the problem is not in the USB port, but in the firmware?
Are there any fixes for that or should I try to replace the phone while still on guarantee?
