AC Question
I have just moved over from an iPhone 6s to a Samsung s7 Edge as my main work phone. While I love the Samsung's hardware, I find the apps to be much more (primitive) in nature. For instance, many of my iPhone weather apps offer animated features, graphs, and additional data (like a moving radar screen). Not so on my Samsung. The iPhone offers great calendar apps like fantastical, and Timepage by Moleskin. The only decent calendar app I can find on Android is Google's own app (which lacks many of the features found in iOS versions). I'm not knocking Android, but I'm just wondering why there seems to be a lack of quality within the OS? I've also noticed that many of the apps in the Google Play store are created by individuals, whereas iOS has more companies creating apps. Like I said before, I much prefer the Samsung hardware (much nicer than the iPhone), I just don't know why the app experience is so lacking.
