Most recent updates locking phone

[AC Question]

I am locked out of my phone. In the past, when the phone didn't recognize my fingerprint, it popped up the keyboard display and I could enter my password. Now it just displays a message that says: "Try again in ___ minutes" (each time setting a longer time frame). What gives????

I would strongly suggest contacting Samsung Support Center and see if they can help you. Other than that, you can try the following:

1. Enter recover and try wiping cache partition.
2. If you used Android Device Manager, Or Samsung's Find My Mobile, login VIA web page and lock your phone with alternate password.
3. Full factory reset....VIA Recovery Mode.

I strong suggest going through Samsung first....if the cache wipe doesn't work
