Texting issues with my Galaxy S4

About two weeks ago out of the blue I stopped being able to receive text messages from my boyfriend's personal phone and his work phone. He is still receiving texts from me. His carrier (Verizon) and my carrier ( AT&T) both say they have no idea why this is happening. Can you please help me with this issue?

Assuming he didn't open an iMessage account, if the carriers can't figure it out (that means their engineering deparments, not their sales people in the stores), no one else is going to get any closer (than "we can't figure it out"). They can follow a message from his tower to yours and see where it's getting lost, we can't.
