Accidently deleted Contacts list. Is it in the Trash folder and can it be retrieved?

Have a GS6 Active. Accidently deleted my Contacts list in the Phone mode. Can't find the Trash file. have found it before to retrieve pictures.

Try going to Google Contacts. If the contacts are Google contacts, you can retrieve anything you've deleted in the last 30 days. Then sync to the phone.
