Since upgrade to Samsung Galaxy 5, I can't upload pictures to my computer.

Until today, I just plug in the USB cable, open phone to camera, and I get a window on my computer screen that allows me to pick DCIM etc. Upload has always been easy. Now...nothing. No little 'ding' that usually precedes seeing the window. I am VERY upset because I store all my photos my year and event on my computer. I've tried the USB that came with the phone and one that came with my camera.

Before going any further, install WiFi File Transfer on the phone and copy ALL files you don't have backed up to the computer.

The problem may be a bad USB port on the phone (or even in the computer). Wifi File Transfer will work with any web browser on the computer end, no USB required.
