HELP PLEASE withAndroid Device Manager

Accidentally locked the wrong phone and no matter how many times I go to the Android Device Manager to change the password to something super easy; it still doesn't allow me to unlock the phone. Please help. The phone that I've locked is my back up for the phone that was stolen, the one that I was actually trying to lock.

Welcome to Android Central!

Are you sure you have the correct phone selected in the list in Android Device Manager? There should be a drop down menu to select different phones.
