my htc raider touch screen has stopped working and was wondering if there is a way to fix it

it has been working great all day and the whole 2 years i've had it but this afternoon after i fully charged it the touch screen has stopped working it wont even allow me to turn it off or restart it without removing the battery

Assuming it's just the touch screen that's bad, replacing the touch screen (the digitizer) will fix it. Don't try this at home, bring it to a qualified repair shop. (If it's something more, like a bad motherboard, it hardly pays to repair the phone.)
